Domain Name Ownership
When you own a domain name it represnts your business, products or services - it is important you select the right one. There are a number of rules you need to be aware of when purchasing a domain name for yourself or business.
.com.au and net.au domain names(australian domain names) may only be registered Australian registered businesses.
Tip: Often it is a good idea to cover other domain names extensions to protect your name(s) - adding a .com or .co.nz is a simple process
.org.au domains (australian domain names) may only by registered Australian non-profit organisations.
Tip: Domain Names may only be between 3 and 63 characters - the shorter the better!
.id.au domains (australian domain names) are reserved for Australian citizens or permanent residents. Ideal for personal websites and may only be registered as long as it contains your legal name or nickname you are known by.
Tip: You can only register letters, numbers and the hyphen ( - ) in your domain names.
.net & .info doamian names are recommended for any Global organisations or companies, businesses and individuals. .org Recommended for any Global organisations
Tip: You cannot have a space between words or characters. Domain names are NOT CasE SEnsitive.
info & .biz domain names are recommended for any Global companies or businesses.
Tip: You may own as many domain names as you desire
